A Cool animation with a perfect timming.
You now get to see why I've been so excited for so long. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to mention all the exciting things we've been working on due to the restrictions I have to live with (see blog "All 3ds Max secrets revealed"). Now, some of the shackles have come off, but because we're technically still in beta, neither I nor anyone else can release the full scope and precise details of what awaits you. However, we've prepared a few sneak peaks to whet your appetite.
Wrapit is essentially a tool for conforming meshes to other meshes. This lends itself to various scenarios such as retopoligising high-res meshes like those created in Zbrush, Mudbox, 3d Scan data, and creating low poly proxies for situations where those are preferable, like collision detection etc.
Wrapit's strength lies in allowing you to use the full set of 3dsmax's editable polygon tools, whilst working on the surface of a target object.

Description & Features:
I've written this tool mainly because I find the existing selection tools in 3dsmax very poor and rather unpractical. The main goal was to create a tool which gives you a good hierarchic overview of the objects in your scene, and enables you to quickly select objects (with a single click!). Next to that, I wanted to make object parenting/linking more intuitive and easy.

Layer and Hierarchy mode.
